The Flavorful San Marzano Tomato

All Pastene San Marzano tomatoes are shipped from Italy. San Marzano tomatoes are not just a species of tomato -- they are unique to where they are grown and how they are processed. Our tomatoes are peeled then fresh packed in tomato juice, not purée, and contain a basil leaf. They are of excellent quality with a deep red color, firm flesh and having a rich, mellow flavor. They stay longer on the vine and are harvested and canned when perfectly ripe.

Lacey Baby Swiss is a semi soft cheese made with part-skim milk that has a minimal amount of cream reduced. This is a pale ivory colored cheese with numerous small holes called "eyes," creating an attractive lacy appearance. With a flavor that is mild, nutty, and buttery, it is great for slicing and melting.

The first wheel of Flagship, Beecher’s signature cheese, was handcrafted just as Beecher’s Handmade Cheese opened its doors in Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market in November of 2003. Flagship is a semi-hard cow’s milk cheese with a uniquely robust, nutty flavor. It is carefully aged for one year under the watchful eye of the cheesemaker to fully develop its complex flavor and ever-so-slight crumble. Outstanding on a Beecher’s Cracker!
